1) Hannah Jane, b. 15 Sept 1858, DeKalb Co., IN, d. 24 Sept 1924, Marietta KS.  Married 15 May 1877 to Niels Fedderson Anderson b. 20 Mar 1845, d. 15 Apr 1915.  Lived in Marietta, Kansas.   They had two children.

2) Robert Lincoln Haughey, b. 28 Jan 1861, DeKalb Co., IN, d. 10 Sept 1946, CA.  Married 1 March 1891 to Henrietta Augusta Payne b. 9 Feb 1871 at Eureka, Calif. , d. 14 Feb 1939 at Eureka, Calif.  Lived in Leadville Colorado and Eureka, California.  They had 5 children.

3) Orilla Melissa, b. 7 May 1863, DeKalb Co., IN, d. 11 Feb 1926.   Married 11 May 1890 to William Alexander Young   b. 8 June 1858, d. 11 Nov 1913.  They lived in Leadville Colorado.  They had 3 children.

4) Jacob Sherman, b. 19 Aug 1865, DeKalb Co., IN, d 8 Mar 1939.  Married in 1891 to Cora Bell Clay  b. 21 Oct 1873 at Cisne, Wayne Co. IL , d. 3 July 1962 in Portland, OR.  They lived Leadville CO and in Portland OR.  They had two children.

5) Francis Marion Grant “Grant M.,” b. 11 June 1868 in DeKalb Co., IN, d. 28 July 1908,  in Steamboat Springs, CO.  Married Lillie Ora Stephens on 13 Sept 1893.   b. 26 Nov  1872 at Green Ridge, Pettis Co. MO d. 9 Feb 1953 in Craig CO.  They had three children.

6) Oliver Washington, b. 14 Oct 1870, Adair Co., IA, d. 27 Jan 1947.   Married 18 June 1906 to Sarah Eva McDonald  b. 1 April 1888 in Madison Co. IL , d. 1951  They lived in Craig Colorado.  They had 4 children.

7) William Harrison, b. 12 Nov 1872, Adair Co.,  IA, d. 11 Feb 1948.  Married 12 Aug 1907 to Bertha Christmann.  They lived in Portland, OR.  They had no children.

8) Ossa Letta, b. 13 Jan 1875, Adair Co., IA, d. 14 Aug 1970.  Married 25 Sept, 1902 to Byron B. Cooper b. 14 April 1857 at Des Moines, Iowa.  d. 14 Sept 1906 at Craig Colorado.  They lived in Craig and had 2 children.

9) Edwin Vernie, b. 11 May 1877, Guthrie Co., IA, d 2 Aug 1947.   Married 18 Dec 1902 to Effie Ophelia McDonald  b.  6 June 1883 at  Moro, IL  d. 14 March 1967.  They lived in Craig and had 6 children.

10) Blanch Maud,  b. 22 Mar 1879, Guthrie Co., IA, d. 10 May 1965. Married 14 Jan 1914 to William Joseph Hess b. 14 Oct 1872 Cincinnati OH, d. 4 Feb 1968.   They had 2 children.

Francis Marion Haughey's Parents

Father: Robert Haughey III, b. 19 Mar 1790, near Wilmington, DE, d. 6 Aug 1870, Dekalb Co., IN

 Mother: Hannah Wyckoff, b 2  Mar 1800, Erie Co., PA, d 28 Feb 1875, DeKalb Co., IN

They were married 13 march 1817 and had 14 children including Francis Marion.

Isabella Ann (Leathers) Haughey

Steve's Great-Great-Grandparents, Francis Marion Haughey and Isabella Ann (Leathers) Haughey were responsible for moving the Haughey family from Ohio and Iowa to Craig Colorado in the 1870's.  Francis was a veteran of the Civil War, serving in two units; the 44th Indiana Infantry and the 1st Mississippi Marine Brigade.  He was also a silver miner in both Colorado and Utah.  He married Isabella Ann Leathers in 1857 and had ten children.  He died in 1910, at the age of 71, while working a mine in Utah.
