Apple Blossoms
These apple trees in the Sierra Nevada grace the mountains with color! The early apple farmers of the Mother Lode area of the Sierras provided food for the 49er miners. Many of these apple orchards are still there providing enjoyment for today's residents and vacationers.

As the snow melts away from the mountains the trees blossom!
As the year moves on through the
summer months, the apples grow before the
harvest in the Fall. Here are a few photos
from a November 2004 apple harvest.
After the
apple pick'n comes the pies! The apples that are left go to the local deer!
It won't be long before the snows return.
