Lyons Reservoir
Lyons Reservoir is a PG&E
site and only 2 miles from Twain Harte located on the South Fork
of the Stanislaus River . Lyons is a beautiful lake to visit.
You can hike around the lake on an easy, level trail and hike across the
dam. PG&E
allows fishing and hiking, but no swimming or boating.
The dam at the south end of the lake has a dramatic spill way that drains the lake into a picturesque canyon below the dam.
The lake drops in the late summer and fall as the water is used for the Tuolumne water district.
